Alvin is an international Gospel recording artist, worship leader, inspirational speaker, writer, teacher and internet network marketing mentor.
Alvin spent 14 years failing at 16 jobs. He was bankrupt twice, evicted from apartments and a home foreclosed. He and his family were on welfare during a period of unemployment. The future did not look good. That was 20 years ago.
Today, with 20 years of determination, experience, knowledge, and success in ministry and as an entrepreneur, Alvin is passionate about helping leaders and future leaders cut through hype, confusion and overwhelm to build ministries and businesses that encourage, inspire, and empower.
His mission is to help coachable and teachable entrepreneurs reinvent their lives and breakthrough the barriers that have been keeping them from living with passion and fulfilling their dreams.
He teaches simple, authentic, yet powerful strategies that can be applied to living life successfully.
As founder of Alvin Slaughter International, Alvin has performed, taught and spoken at over 2000 performances in the United States, Canada, Africa, The United Kingdom, Israel, South America, Australia, and the Carribbean.
He has produced 9 inspirational recordings that are distributed around the world. Alvin has received 4 Dove Award nominations as well as a Stellar Award nomination for his recordings.
Recently, Alvin received an honorary doctorate from Toronto Christian College for his success and impact in inspirational music for more than 20 years.
